With sadness, we learned of Larry Briggs’ passing through PassageMaker’s March issue. Knowing him over 30 years, to me Larry was variously my captain, boss, client, teacher, shipmate and friend. A friend of mine said it best, “he was a colorful character in an increasingly monochromatic world.”
As I sit here anchored off Elbow Cay in the Abacos and turn the pages of three generations of precious, Chilberg-cruising memories, I ask myself, “Is there a better way that we all could have spent our money?” I doubt it.
