The new MCY 70 Skylounge, launched at Miami Yacht Show 2020, embodies Monte Carlo Yachts’ distinguishing timeless elegant yachts by presenting a fully customizable enclosed flybridge for the first time designed and manufactured by an Italian shipyard. With the idea of offering higher levels of comfort onboard to be enjoyed all year round, the shipyard’s concept of delivering a home-away-from-home has been emphasized through the entire new MCY Skylounge Collection: the MCY 66 Skylounge, MCY 70 Skylounge, MCY 76 Skylounge and MCY 80 Skylounge.

The first model of the new MCY Skylounge Collection, namely the new MCY 70 Skylounge, features the unmistakable touches of Nuvolari Lenard clearly visible in the wide windows as well as in the enlarged symbolic portholes designed to increase the brightness throughout the yacht. Monte Carlo Yachts’ continuous investments in research and development towards its awarded Naval Architecture and Production Process, enabled the shipyard to design and manufacture a yacht with an enclosed flybridge entirely made in Carbon Fiber and the fuel tank integrated in the hull. Thanks to the long-lasting collaboration with the Italian design studio, the owner is able to customize this additional volume of the yacht without missing-out on the elegant and sophisticated Italian Made style.

The Skylounge offers a wide versatile enclosed area with a comfortable sofa in line with a coffee table to be personalized according to the owner’s needs and desires. Alongside the lounge area, the upper bridge features the strategic location of the sole helm station equipped with top-edge technological elements. The 360° view, which allows to safely maneuver the yacht, can be fully enjoyed thanks to the panoramic sunroof with an electrical opening glass panel and the large windows all around.

The bright atmosphere of the Skylounge is enhanced by the elegant glass staircase, which connects the enclosed Flybridge with the open space of the main saloon. Also this volume can be rearranged to fulfil the owner’s tastes and preferences. This particular model features a combination of comfortable sofas, a fully equipped galley and an elegant dining location. In order to increase the level of comfort onboard, there is the opportunity to add a day head easily accessible from the main and upper main saloons. Furthermore, thanks to the close connection with the al fresco dining location of the Aft Cockpit, this functional area can be further expanded.

While the higher bridges of the new MCY 70 Skylounge display significant innovative elements, the versatile configuration of the lower deck is in line with the models of the MCY Collection. The yacht offers comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests with an impressive owner cabin characterized by a private stair access for a higher degree of privacy, a spacious VIP cabin and two comfortable guest cabins. The Italian Made design elements of Monte Carlo Yachts distinguished by elegant and sophisticated tailored interior decoration allows the owner to personalize also the lower deck of the yacht. High-end fabrics, natural stones and Italian leathers are just a few of the unlimited customization options of superior materials available on the MCY Collection.

While the Skylounge presents an additional volume to enjoy all year round, the new range continues to offer multiple spacious external areas compared to the other enclosed models available on the market. The new MCY 70 Skylounge is characterized by an upper bridge featuring an external functional area and a main deck offering a private al fresco dining location protected by MCY’ fashion plates aft, as well as a versatile spacious area featuring a combination of dining tables and comfortable sunpads bow. Outdoor spaces are closely connected to the internal areas of the yachts with the aim of offering a close relationship between the individual and the sea throughout all seasons. Alongside such close space connections, the wider windows and larger portholes ensure a bright atmosphere across all volumes of the yacht.
