At the Bering shipyard in Antalya, Turkey, the fully custom B76 Lemanjá left the shed and touched water for the first time on June 14th.
Alexei Mikhailov, founder and director of the yard, was ecstatic for its splashing of its first-ever, fully custom build.
“It was a privilege to build a boat of somebody’s desire. The boat will stay steady slicing through the waves due to her weight, shape of the hull and a state-of-the-art stabilizer system. Even the rough seas will feel smooth and comfortable with this custom-built yacht,” he said.
The steel-hulled (with aluminum superstructure) 76-footer is designed for bluewater, adventure cruising. According to Bering, the 76 will have a 4,100 nautical-mile range, allowing its owners to travel virtually anywhere.
Powered by twin, 404-hp Cummins engines, the B76 boasts a maximum speed of 12 knots and will cruise at 9 knots. Three staterooms belowdecks, including a full-beam master stateroom with walk-in closets, can accommodate up to 8 guests. Crew quarters for 3 are aft, near her engine room.
Her fully custom interior includes a fully enclosed skylounge for all-weather cruising comfort, with her salon and dining area on the main deck. An Opacmare’s Transformer converts her swim platform to a massive, private beach club.
Now, the B76 Lemanjá waits for her delivery to her owner, beginning her first seaworthy journey.
