‘Tucker Tug’ is Hull No. 67 of the esteemed Lord Nelson Victory Tug series, of which only 75 were ever crafted.
Renowned for their robust construction and timeless design, the Lord Nelson 37 Victory Tugs were designed with a few considerations in mind:
1. An efficient displacement hull capable of providing excellent fuel economy at speeds equal to or exceeding hull speed.
2. A fine-tracking, easily steered hull.
3. A true tugboat profile, both in terms of the hull and abovedeck.
4. A spacious interior that meets the requirements of the entire crew.
5. A design that meets ABS standards.
Tucker Tug was built in 1987. She has sleeping accommodations for five, a warm wooden interior, and a 150-hp Cummins diesel engine.
