The Offshore 70 is the latest model to splash from the builder’s CE Series that also includes 65-foot, 68-foot and 72-foot models.

All CE Series boats are based on a 19-foot, 6-inch beam. Other shared features include full walkaround side decks, a main deck with copious glass in the superstructure, offering panoramic views and a spacious, open-concept layout, a cockpit with alfresco dining for up to 10 guests, and a large flybridge and boat deck. The galley can be configured aft or midship, depending on owner’s preference.

Her accommodations package also grants owners some flexibility. The four-stateroom option includes a full beam, amidship master stateroom with a walkaround king berth and forward VIP separated by a pair of staterooms with either bunks or double berths. Another configuration for the 70’s belowdecks area is for a three full-beam, en suite staterooms. Crew accommodations are accessed via a transom door, which also leads to the full-height engine room.

The 70 CE is equipped with energy-efficient systems that support off-grid cruising. A sizable LiON battery bank will run hotel loads and the air conditioning while on the hook without the need for the generator. Twin 200-amp Delstar alternators ensure the batteries remain charged while underway. For additional firepower, a Mastervolt solar power regulator can work in tandem with other Mastervolt onboard systems should one choose to install photovoltaic panels on the flybridge hardtop. For heavy lifting, there’s a standard 20-kW Northern Lights genset.

Her semi-displacement hull is built for performance. The design incorporates a vertical bow and deeper vee section for a smoother ride, while a longer waterline and flatter aft sections improve efficiency and reduce fuel consumption. The hard double chine hull also adds to the yacht’s stability and delivers a drier ride.

Twin 1,000 hp MANs, an upgrade from her standard 850-hp MANs, reportedly push the 70 to a top speed just shy of 22 knots and a cruise speed that ranges from 16 to 19 knots. At 10 knots, her builder says the 70 has a range of 1,500 nautical miles.
