The three-stateroom model replaces the 58 with a host of interior and exterior upgrades.

We can say two things with absolute certainty about the Cannes Yachting Festival. It’s going to be sunny. The other? Sirena Yachts will splash a new model.

The Turkey-based builder has been fairly consistent with world debuts during the annual event on the Côte d’Azur. This year’s show, held from Sept. 9-14, is no different, with the builder introducing the Sirena 60.

The 60 will replace the 58 in its five-model line that runs from 48 to 88 feet. The exterior lines, drawn by Argentinian yacht designer Germán Frers, remain. The pleasing profile is defined by a plumb bow, copious hullside glass and a tall pilothouse with forward-facing windows that echo her straight bow.

Her belowdecks configuration is also the same, with an amidship, full-beam master stateroom and VIP in the bow with queen bed. The third stateroom that separates them will have a sliding berth that can be configured as a double or twins.

Sirena has chosen to revamp and redesign the 60 both in her outdoor and indoor spaces. The 60 gets a longer swim platform and wider stairs that lead to the cockpit, with remodeled seating that offers more stowage. On the foredeck, her lounge area has been reconfigured, with a larger, C-shape settee and dining table abaft a commodious sunpad that can accommodate four loungers.

Molded and teak-clad stairs lead to the updated flybridge. The helm pod and helm seats have been given modern updates. The cabinet that houses her summer galley—an electric barbecue, fridge and ice make—gets a new Corian countertop. Similar to her predecessor, the hardtop has a built-in, electrically actuated sunroof.

The aft galley is 20 percent bigger than on the 58, with larger countertops, more stowage and the option for a wine fridge. Her lower helm was also given updated seating, and the belowdecks companionway was redesigned to take up less space and allow for a washer-dryer to tuck in below the stairs.
