
We’ve tallied up your votes for the Coast Guard’s 2014 Video of the Year and have the results for the top three videos. From a time-lapse from a Coast Guard Cutter’s patrol to the last minute rescue of two young men, your favorite videos showcased the commitment Coast Guard men and women display on each and every mission, each and every day.
And now for the winners…
First place: High-Speed Pursuit Training
The first place video features a first-hand look at tactical law enforcment training and allows you to ride along with crews throughout south Texas.
Second place: Turtle Rescue
The second place video features the rescue of an 800-pound leatherback turtle by a Coast Guard crew from Station Cape May, New Jersey.
Third place: Station Bellingham Rescue
The third place video gives you a front row seat as a Coast Guard crew from Station Bellingham, Washington, rescue two young men after their canoe overturned.
