With the release of Apple’s iOS 9 comes a revamped app from NOAA’s weather forecasting and severe weather alerts system. Radar Pro will now sync with these latest Apple updates, including Apple Watch direct-to-wrist alerts.
The app offers real-time severe weather alerts as well as animated radar and satellite overlays, detailed weather forecasts (24-hour and 7-day), and a hurricane tracker that plots past, present, and forecasted storm paths.
Other features include the ability to customize the opacity of overlays, bookmarks to quickly check weather at your usual destinations, and a multitude of map types, from standard and satellite, to a hybrid look that combines the two.
