A fire destroyed a motoryacht and severely damaged a sailing yacht while both were hauled out at Hinckley Yacht Services in Portsmouth, Rhode Island in early December. The motoryacht was in a lift at the time of the fire. The just-refit sailing yacht was in stands adjacent to the lift.
