“Our desire was greater than our fear,” Robert and Graciela Gannon told us in 2023 on an episode of Trawler Talk, Passagemaker’s podcast.
It turns out that was a bit of an understatement. They bought their Ranger Tugs R-31 to do the Great Loop, which they completed. Then, they did the Down East Loop. Then, they cruised all the way up through Maine’s Bar Harbor, down back through Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, through Long Island Sound, into New York City and then all the way down to Key West.
And still, they were looking for more action. So, they booked the boat onto a freighter, which picked it up in Baltimore and dropped it off in Amsterdam. They’re now on their third summer European tour and sent us this photo from Paris.
