The newest boat in the builder’s Incredibly successful model line lets buyers choose—sedan or flybridge.

The Swift Trawler family of semi-displacement boats has been nothing short of a sensation for Beneteau. According to the builder, over 1,800 boats have been delivered over the last two decades in a model line that has ranged from 30 to 53 feet.

The latest boat to wear the Swift Trawler badge, the 37, replaces the 35-footer in the lineup and incorporates a number of features seen on ST models that have launched over the last several years.

On the 37, buyers the choice of a Sedan or Flybridge version, something the France-based company offered with the Swift Trawler 41 that splashed in 2019. The 37-footers have the same salon and two-stateroom, single-head belowdecks layout but add something new on the upper deck of the sedan—a rooftop lounge that can be customized with a Bimini, moveable furniture, a space for a tender and SUPs, and more.

The flybridge model will have a port-side, C-shape settee and dinette aft of the starboard helm with a single chair for the captain. Options include a pair of skylights built into the forward section of the superstructure and a solar array package. For both models, the air draft is manageable for inland cruising: 15-foot, 3-inch for the sedan and 16-foot, 1-inch for the flybridge.

Like all Swift Trawlers, the 37 is based on an asymmetrical layout with a wider starboard side deck that’s accessed aft or from the salon via a sliding door at the lower helm.

Both boats will ride on a new, semi-displacement hull from Dixon Yacht Design that looks to return economical fuel consumption from displacement to planing speeds. With her standard power package, a single, 400-hp Yanmar, the builder estimates the 37 will have a 350-nautical-mile range at 8 knots with a 10 percent reserve.  A 440-hp Yanmar is her optional power upgrade.

The ST 37 will make her world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, held from Sept. 9-14, 2025.
