An Outer Reef yacht owner decided to stay within the brand after making the decision a larger yacht would better accommodate her family and friends. With the Outer Reef 2019 610 Motoryacht EQUIESSENCE as her first build with Outer Reef, the owner was inspired to explore the idea of a larger Outer Reef Classic Deluxbridge™ (skylounge) model. The 740 model offers an array of benefits due to an enclosed upper helm station, including an air temperature-controlled environment and protection from inclement weather during casual cruising or long-range excursions. The skylounge space offers added versatility and is often used as a family activity space and/or an office area or study.

The owner of EQUIESSENCE is very active on and away from the dock, and decided to build a 740 Outer Reef Classic Deluxbridge Motoryacht tailored to her cruising lifestyle. As she and her family created their wish list for their new build, it was important to incorporate the need for a safe “sports platform” to accommodate water activities. According to the builder, the new 740 has the largest “sports swim platform” to be offered on this model to date, providing extra space for water activities, including tender use, additional space for SCUBA diving and use of a Brownies Third Lung type system, setting up gear for multiple divers, launching paddle boards, and throwing a fishing line or two in the water while trolling through the islands.
