Hey Everybody!
Sam and I are jumping on the boat to party again (shocking I know)! This time, it’s the inaugural YachtoberFestat historic Foss Waterway in Tacoma, Oct. 3-4, 2014. And, there’s still some moorage left, but not much. Listen, this time we don’t want to hear a bunch of you whining because moorage and the party sold out before you let go of your dinghy long enough to reserve a spot!
The organizers asked me to host the Big Party Friday Night. You get two tickets with your paid moorage and you can buy extras at the door for $20. But, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Inside the Big Party, you get free beer, wine, appetizers, a live DJ, and The Boat Guy with a microphone! Plus, we’re having a Bavarian costume contest for those who want to dress up like Bavarians… and Chelsea The Beer Girl and Tuba Dave will be there too! Now THAT’s a Boat Guy party!
Moorage also includes four tickets to YachtoberFest on Saturday, featuring more than 20 local craft breweries, live music, and lots of German food. The official slogan is Boats, Beers & Bratwurst! The music on the esplanade will go all weekend and I’ll be leading some important educational seminars, such as “If it looks deep, it probably is…” and “Losing a Spouse at Sea: Know the Law.”
And don’t forget… “weiners!”
