The Refit International Exhibition & Conference will take place Jan. 28-29 in Fort Lauderdale.
Refit International, a new trade event presented by Professional BoatBuilder magazine, is a response to the rise in refit work internationally during the last decade.
Refit International will be a two-day conference featuring technical seminars in management, methodology and technology. The conference will run concurrently with a two-day exhibition of the products and services used in modern refit work, which is free to attend.
The conference will feature 15 seminars divided among four tracks — project management; marine systems; composites and metal; and design and style.
The 2016 Refit Excellence Awards will designate winners in the categories of best sailing yacht 50-100 feet; best sailing yacht over 100 feet; best poweryacht 50-100 feet; best poweryacht over 100 feet; and best accomplishment in refit excellence.
