Our Way III, a four-stateroom, five head model (with crew quarters), is packed with upgrades including her optional engines, twin 1,136-hp Caterpillar C-18s. The big Cats deliver the optimal balance of power and performance, with notable fuel economy at displacement speeds and a nimble cruise speed of 17 knots. The power package is complemented by a Seatorque shaft system, which reduce vibration and noise and improve efficiency.
From the integrated swim platform, her spacious cockpit is completely shaded from the flybridge overhang and is replete with optional teak decking as well as wing doors and a custom cabinet with built-in refrigeration and wet bar. A glass and steel door leads to her airy salon, amidship galley and pilothouse. Molded fiberglass and teak-topped stairs lead to the flybridge, where there’s a full electronics suite, plenty of seating (including twin Stidd helm seats), a BBQ grill, dive tank stowage and an extended boat deck than can accommodate a tender up to 14 feet. A 2,000-pound capacity Steelhead davit completes the package.
For those that may want to take on inland voyages or the Great Loop, the hinged mast is electronically actuated and can lower for fixed bridges. The yacht also has a Glendenning handheld remote system with three plug-in stations (aft deck, boat deck and Portuguese bridge) and a Yacht Controller for close-quarters maneuvers.
