Nicholas and Johanna Baxter spent two years exploring the Australian coast on their Fleming 65.
Once the couple saw that Fleming was building an 85-footer, they signed on. About 18 months later, the couple took delivery near Fleming’s Taiwan yard, christened her Freja, and embarked on a 5,000-nautical-mile wring out in Southeast Asia.
But their tale continues. In the spring, they decided to ship the boat to the Mediterranean and spend summer and beyond there. We caught up to them at the Cannes Yachting Festival, took a tour of Freja and planned this conversation.
