Charlie, a Labrador-golden mix, enjoys one of his favorite things to do, which is being on the boat, that it was difficult for human companions Chip Kromer and Sandi Smith to choose just one.
Charlie’s vessel of choice is a 1990 Carver sedan named Compass Rose. The boat is now in La Conner, Washington, but at the time of this image her homeport was Anacortes.
Charlie especially loves being on the flybridge. “He will literally take a good run and climb the ladder himself to get up there,” Smith says. “You can see by his big smile how happy he is.”
