The former Hurricane Hole Marina in the Bahamas renamed Hurricane Hole Superyacht Marina at Paradise Landing, is being overhauled to include luxury residences, retail shops, dining and other amenities. The redeveloped facility will have 6,100 linear feet of deep-water concrete docks with slips for yachts to 420 feet.

“This will be a new dimension in yachting in the Bahamas and luxury living on Paradise Island,” David Kosoy, executive chairman and founder of Sterling Global Financial, the project’s developer and manager, said in a statement.

Construction is expected to be finished in the second half of 2021.

Bahamas Prime Minister Hubert Minnis toured the project on Dec. 11 with Kosoy and Khaalis Rolle, president of Sterling Advisory Services.

“We’re extremely proud that this project is making a significant contribution to job creation and economic opportunities for many Bahamians businesses,” Rolle said. “We appreciate the support from the Bahamas government to make it happen. This project … will employ a tremendous number of workers while creating long-term value for the Bahamian tourism brand.”
