US Harbors recently kicked off the 3rd annual “Best Harbor in the U.S.” contest.
Crowdsourced voting continues to May 31 for any of the 1,400 harbors where US Harbors provides coastal weather and tide info.
In past years, more than 100,000 people from around the country cast their votes, with one vote allowed per participant.

Participation is free and the contest intends to promote the strength and vitality of coastal communities. Past winning harbors were Padanaram, Mass. and Depoe Bay, Ore., notable for residents who are passionate about where they live and work. Winners will be announced on June 4, and US Harbors holds a special event and provides gifts for the winner’s community.
