VIP passes are a great educational value for boatbuyers, beginners and more experienced cruisers seeking to expand their horizons.

VIPs at TrawlerFest-Riviera Beach may attend any combination of seminars, except the two-day diesel engine course. That means any combination of the one-day (or equivalent) seminars and two-hour seminars. For example, an attendee could take the “Bahamas Bound” seminar on Wednesday, Jan. 21, followed by the “BoatBuyer’s Survival Guide” on Thursday and Friday mornings and the hands-on “Boat Handling” seminar on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

(If you sign up as a VIP and want the Boat Handling course please RSVP us on that because it is limited to 15 students and we don’t want to be surprised.)

If you do the math, you have purchased admission to three $225 courses for the price of a $375 pass. Plus you get general admission to all four days of the TrawlerFest in-water boat show, light lunch, entry to the Thursday “Trawlers at Twilight” docktail party and entry to our Friday night event, which is to be announced.

TrawlerFest VIP passes are a better deal than in years past because we now include most long seminars in the package. In the past we called this TrawlerFest University and offered long seminars on Tuesday and Wednesday only.

Now the long seminars go Wednesday right through the end of the show. The only difference is that full-day equivalent seminars during the boat show (Thursday through Sunday) are conducted on successive mornings, leaving afternoons for attendees to walk the docks. This package gives attendees access to every seminar EXCEPT the diesel engine course.

VIP tickets are $425 at the gate, still a good deal, but some seminars may not be available because they may have maxed out through advance ticket sales. The venue is the new municipal marina at Riviera Beach.
